Agrigem customer, Richard, is in the middle of a significant lawn development project involving levelling, aeration, weed control, seeding, fertilising, and a whole lot of monitoring and management. We’re following the project and Richard’s progress closely and will share updates as we have them.
Take a look at what Richard has done so far:
Stage One
Richard walks us through an initial lawn assessment, identifying bumps, bare patches and weed grasses.
Stage Two
Every wondered what it looks like when you use blue dye to show spray progress? Take a look and watch Richard chat us through his use of Roundup Pro Vantage as he kills off the grass to create a blank canvas.
Stage Three
Four days in, and we now start to see tinges of yellow identifying the weaker, shallow-rooted grass.
Stage Four
Richard shows us the difference between scarified areas of the lawn and non-scarified areas as he continues to prepare the ground.
Stage Five
We see pre-cut grass after scarifying and before levelling.
Stage Six
Richard starts filling in and evening out some of the lumps and bumps.
Stage Seven
Richard tackles levelling, taking large bumps out. Then it’s planning the aeration programme before ordering top soil.
Stage Eight
Top soil delivered and applied!
Stage Nine
More than a ton of compost goes down ready for the hard work of digging in!
Stage Ten
Two hours of levelling done and Richard's ready to seed. A bit of rain might have helped...
Stage Eleven
The seed is applied and fleeced to protect it. We're now keeping everything crossed for rain and can't wait to see the first green shoots. Good luck Richard!
