Paddock Soil Analysis:
Before fertilising your paddock you should, as the title suggests, make sure you are aware of the formulation of fertiliser that will match the nutrition levels that your paddock needs.
In order to be sure of this, we recommend that a soil analysis be carried out to establish a measure of nutrients that are currently available in your soil. You’ll be able to identify the soil nutrients that are lacking or chemical factors that might be limiting plant growth.
Agrigem have a Soil Analysis Service that anyone with a lawn or paddock can take advantage of to assess their soil nutrient levels.
How It Works:
Upon purchase you will be sent a pre-paid packet to fill with your soil. Collect at least 350g of soil from across the field or site in a bucket and ensure it has been thoroughly mixed together before decanting into the pre-paid bag. Mixing the soil will give a good average reading from across the field. The packet will be sent direct to the laboratory where they will analyse it and then contact us with the results. We will then contact you, explain the findings and send you copy.
For a general paddock fertiliser, we advice using 20-10-10 Paddock Fertiliser. However, we recommend using our easy and efficient Paddock Soil Analysis service. Once the soil sample has been analysed we will contact you with the results, including a personalised fertiliser recommendation.
