Ammonium Sulphate 21-0-0 25kg

Ammonium sulphate is a water-soluble fertiliser that is perfect for promoting healthy growth and deep green-up in plants. With its high nitrogen content of 21%, this fertiliser is cost-effective and provides a quick release of nitrogen to encourage leafy growth.

Ammonium sulphate also contains 24% sulphur, which improves the colour and density of turf, making it an ideal solution for nitrogen and sulphur deficiencies within the soil. This makes it possible to grow a diverse selection of plants in any area, especially leafy green plants, as it boosts their early growth and provides a supply of sulphur for later growth.

To brighten tired grass, simply spread Ammonium Sulphate on the surface and wet it in. Alternatively, it can be diluted and used as a liquid feed, which can be reapplied at monthly intervals between April and September. With flexible application rates to suit growth requirements, this ammonium sulphate is a quick-acting and highly beneficial fertiliser for grass.

Application Method:

Ammonium Sulphate can be used as both a granular product that is spread at 25-35g/m² so a bag will cover 715-1000m² or it can be dissolved in water and sprayed on as a foliar feed in which case the rate is 25kg/ha in 200L of water and so 1 bag covers 10,000m².

The difference in coverage is because the plant can only take a certain amount in through the leaf in one application and so you apply less of it as a foliar treatment.
