Aphid Control - Lacewing Larvae

This product consists of Lacewing Larvae (Chysopa MC System). They will need to be used immediately on receipt as they are a live product. The Lacewings will prefer to feed on Aphids (Greenfly and Blackfly) but they will also consume other small insects and their eggs, plus young larvae of moths and sawflies. Please note they will need sufficient food to prevent them eating each other.

Chrysopa carnea is applicable in different vegetable, fruit, and ornamental crops, especially with a high-temperature variation and/or changing relative humidity, as its activity hardly depends on temperature and does not depend on relative humidity.

Storage:

This product is perishable as it is a live product and should be used straight away upon receipt. 

Can be applied with regualr introductions from May through to September. May also be used for mealybug control when the temperature is above 15ºc.

Please note that delivery can take up to 2 weeks - these are a live product that have specific transportation and storage conditions.

**Due to the fact this is a living organism and requires refrigerated transport, all delivery details must be correct and someone must be in to receive the parcel. Failure to do this will likely result in the product having to be replaced at an additional cost**

• Do not use sticky traps in conjunction with this as the lacewings will get caught on them.
• Use immediately upon delivery.
