How to use:

1 gloved handful is approximately 30g

For planting New Acers in Pots & Tubs

• Add 30g of Acer Feed per 6 litres of compost
• For garden planting: Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball of your Acer. Loosen the soil at the base of the hole, apply 30-60g of feed to the bottom (amount depending on the Acer size) and mix a similar quantity into the backfill soil. Once planted, press down firmly to secure the plant.

Annual Feeding for Established Acers

• In Pots: When repotting, mix 30g of Acer Feed per 6 litres of compost, or work it into the surface of existing pots as an annual top dressing.
• In the Garden: Each spring, apply 120g/m² of Acer Feed beneath the canopy. In dry weather water in thoroughly.

Recommended Quantities by Pot Size

• 30cm (12-inch) pot: 10g (about 1/3 handful)
• 38cm (15-inch) pot: 15g (about ½ handful
• 50cm (20-inch) pot: 30g (about 1 handful)

For compost use during potting, add 30g per 6 litres, or 120g/m² for plants in the garden.

• Apply to the soil during planting, then as a top dressing in spring.
• Simply rake, hoe, or fork into the soil and water thoroughly in dry weather to maximise benefits.
• Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children and animals.
