Japanese maples and acers are beloved for their vibrant, year-round colour, but they need the right nutrients to keep their foliage looking is best. Vitax Liquid Acer Feed is a balanced, mineral-based liquid fertiliser specially formulated to support the unique needs of these stunning plant, encouraging robust growth and vivid leaf colour.

How to use:

1 full cap (29 ml) of Vitax Acer Feed should be mixed into 6 litres of water.
Water the solution thoroughly into the soil around the base of the plants.
Apply every 14 days from April to September.
Acers are sensitive to drought; in dry conditions, water regularly between feedings to keep plants hydrated.

Our Recommendation

To prevent plant stress during hot, dry periods, increase feeding as needed.
For best results, dilute and apply around the base of the tree every two weeks from April to September.
