Azalea, Rhododendron & Shrub Fertiliser is an organic-based feed enrichment with added iron. Specially formulated for ericaceous plants, this fertiliser supports vibrant growth and abundant blooms, making it ideal for heathers, conifers, magnolias, skimmias, camellias, hydrangeas, raspberries, blueberries and more.

How to use:

1 small gloved handful contains approximately 30g

For Established Plants

• Evenly sprinkle pellets around the base of the plant at a rate of 30g/m². Lightly work them into the soil, and if the soil is dry, water in after application.
• Apply twice per season: Once at the start of the growing season (March/April) and again when the plant begins.

For New Plants

• Spread pellets evenly around the base of the plant at a rate of 30g/m². Lightly mix into the soil, and water in if dry, ideally using soft or rainwater.

For Chalky Soils and Yellowing Leaves

• Alkaline and chalky soils are generally unsuitable for acid-loving plants like azaleas and camellias, as they lack accessible iron, a crucial nutrient that high pH levels lock up. By using Vitax Azalea, Rhododendron & Shrub Fertiliser along with moss peat or other acidic supplements, you’ll provide essential iron and reduce soil pH, making nutrients more available to the plant.
• Regular use of Vitax Azalea, Rhododendron & Shrub Fertiliser, combined with Seaweed plus Iron, enhances growing conditions. Apply at a rate of 40g/m² and repeat one month after the first application. In hard water areas, water with rainwater for best results.

• Simply sprinkle around the base of established plants and incorporate into the soil.
• For best results, feed twice a season: apply in early spring (March/April) and again at first flowering.
• Enhance results by supplementing with Seaweed plus Iron or Sequestered Plant Tonic to improve growing conditions.
• Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children and animals.
