Clematis fertiliser is a balanced, organic-based feed designed to boost the growth and flowering of clematis and other climbing plants like honey suckle, and ivy. Packed with natural nutrients and rich in potassium, this pelleted fertiliser promotes vigorous growth and abundant blooms for a lush garden display.

How to use:

1 small gloved handful contains approximately 30g

For Established Plants

• Apply fertiliser in March, then reapply every three months throughout the growing season. Spread 60g/m² of pellets evenly around the plant’s base, work into the soil, and water thoroughly.

For New Plantings

• Ensure all newly planted clematis are well-watered during dry spells, especially in late spring and early summer. When growth becomes vigorous, apply 60g/m² of Vitax Clematis feed evenly around the base to support healthy development.

• For best results, plant clematis in fertile, humus-rich soil in a shaded area where roots are protected from direct sun.
• To prevent clematis wilt, large-flowering and viticella varieties should be planted three inches deeper than their starter pots.
• Evergreen varieties should have their root ball just below the soil surface.
• Apply Clematis Fertiliser in March and repeat every three months during the growing season.
• Sprinkle it evenly around the plant’s base, work it into the soil, and water it thoroughly.
• Avoid letting the fertiliser rest on leaves and stems to prevent damage.
• Wear gloves when gardening and wash hands after use.
• Store in a cool dry place away from children, pets and foodstuffs.
