Vitax Perlite 10L

Perlite is a naturally occurring volcanic rock that, when heated to high temperatures, forms lightweight, micro-porous granules. When blended with compost, Perlite retains water and nutrients, creating a healthier growing medium.

To minimise dust, moisten Perlite before use. For larger quantities, add about a litre of water to the bag and let it soak.

Perlite is versatile and effective for seed starting, rooting cuttings, potting on, or planting out. Its structure maintains stable moisture and temperature levels, supporting young plants. The bright white colour of Perlite reflects light, reducing heat stress and encouraging growth by illuminating foliage from below.
