Vermiculite is a natural mineral that has been heated to high temperatures, creating lightweight, highly absorbent flakes. When added to growing media, Vermiculite enhances aeration and boosts moisture and nutrient retention, supporting healthier plant growth.

With its unique “cation exchange” properties, vermiculite holds essential nutrients like ammonium, potassium, calcium and magnesium, making them readily available to plants. It also helps maintain an even temperature providing an optimal environment for seed germination, pricking out, potting on, and supporting plants in containers.
